I'm trying to buy a flat and these clowns are the vendors solicitors. My own solicitor cannot get response and Billinghams have the nerve to say they don't get response from him. The vendor cannot get responses. They tell lies, don't respond, and are now costing me money. Don't go near these chumps unless you want an early heart attack. There is more chance of the Titanic being refloated than my purchase happening. UPDATE 25/1/24 Now almost one year since sale started 27/1/23. Contracts ready and mine signed. Idiot solicitor put sellers contract in the post to the seller this week which took 3 days to get there. Seller opened it and it's wrong. This chump is being reported to the ombudsman for his total incompetence, lack of professionalism and, insistance to use Victorian methods of communication. I might be one year older but feel I've waited ten for this sale to go through.

Went today to attend an appointment but it was closed due to illness. Wish they could have rung us because a wasted trip and now have to find another solicitor at short notice!

Our buyers were using this solicitor, it went at a snails pace and eventually led to the sale falling through. 4 months wasted, money lost and much paper wasted due to this solicitor insisting on hard copies for all correspondence via post only! In this day and age, it is beyond belief how resistant they were to use email. I wouldn't recommend going anywhere near these guys - not only were they incompetent but also very rude.

Buying a flat and these are the sellers solicitor. Do everything at a snails pace and were extremely rude to the estate agent when she requested an update. Told her no update and don't call again this week! She only called because papers he said were being sent to our solicitor 2 weeks ago had still not been sent by them. Obviously they have not yet heard of emails and scanning. Sends piles of papers in the post (Greta will not be happy!).

Lacking any level of service - a firm with an approach that is locked in the past. Takes multiple calls to get a response and no reply to emails.

A RUDE PERSON! VERY SLOW - DOES NOT KEEP TO HIS WORD I WOULD KEEP A DISTANCE FROM USING THIS COMPANY... LOCAL IS NOT ALWAYS THE BEST! - DONT THINK HE EVEN DESERVES A ONE STAR! SUCH A SHAME..

Really poor service only wanted to asked if they offered a will service could not get through on the phone so after days of trying I called in had to wait for ages for someone to come to the door so gave up and talking to other people this is the norm
